Centro Cultural de Belém
Museum
Also known as CCB, the Centro Cultural de Belém was built between 1988 and 1992 and inaugurated on August 10, 1993.
Its construction was based on the need for an architectural site to host the Portuguese presidency of the European Union in 1992, in view of the possibility of becoming a center for revitalizing cultural and leisure activities.
Nowadays it receives varied events, both cultural and leisure, being also an Art Gallery, Museum of Design / Textile and Berardo Museum Collection with a permanent exhibition.
