Jardim Gulbenkian
Green Space
Belonging to the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Gulbenkian Garden was designed by António Viana Barreto in 1957 with the collaboration of Gonçalo Ribeiro Teles and was built in the 1960s.
In this garden with an area of 9ha, you can find a very diverse flora, diverse types of animals, streams, a lake, rails through the trees, garden terraces and an outdoor amphitheater where you can watch concerts and shows in the evenings hotter.
Being one of the most emblematic gardens of the Portuguese modern movement and being a reference for landscape architecture, the Gulbenkian Garden, together with the headquarters building of the Gulbenkian Foundation, was classified as a National Monument in 2010.
