Boa-Bao
Restaurant | €€-€€€
Located in Chiado, the Boa-Bao restaurant presents a unique concept in Portugal, providing a true sensory experience in Asia. Open since April 2017, it is a casual and elegant place that surprises with its pan-Asian cuisine concept. With a singular decoration of industrial-chic style and with very curious ethnic details, the space is divided between the interior room, a small terrace and even a kind of winter garden.
The menu allows you to discover the best of cuisines from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Korea, Japan and China, providing a wide variety of choice. Always respecting the original recipes, Boa-Bao suggests an authentic selection of dishes that are prepared on request "a la minute" and "on the spot" in full view of the customers, with the freshest ingredients.
With an average price of €25 per person, the menu is varied and offers typical Vietnamese appetizers (Vietnamese rolls, flambéed or dim sum), different stuffed soups, Thai, Cantonese or Malaysian soups, rice dishes or noodles made in Wok, curry dishes with rich flavors and exotic salads, as well as meals suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Not even the desserts escape the concept, especially the Japanese Mochi or the Pineapple Carpaccio with chocolate and vanilla.
