Eléctrico 28

Transports

A trip on Eléctrico 28 (Tram 28) in Lisbon is mandatory. The Yellow, as it is also nicknamed by the locals, is a true ex-libris and one of the best ways to get to know the city. Importing from the United States in 1901, this picturesque transport was intended to replace the old horse drawn carriages.

In its route you can appreciate all the historical and natural heritage that Lisbon has to offer as it passes through the most characteristic districts of Lisbon and some of the main belvederes. Eléctrico 28 runs from Prazeres in Campo de Ourique to Martim Moniz, passing by the imposing Basílica da Estrela, Bica Elevator, Camões Square, Chiado, Conceição Street, Sé Catedral, Santa Luzia Viewpoint, Largo das Portas do Sol, Largo da Graça and Anjos, then making the opposite direction.

Allow yourself to get to know Lisbon in a unique way, appreciating the city's unmistakable light, its colors and smells in Amarelo Eléctrico 28.
