Founded in 1927 and currently managed by Jaime Vaz, Garrafeira Nacional has become one of the most renowned specialists in wines and spirits drinks, not only nationally but also internationally. Elected the best wine cellar in 2008 and 2010, its mission is to estimate, share and spread the unparalleled pleasure of wine appreciation.
The selection of Garrafeira Nacional presents one of the most extensive and valuable collections of vintage and rare Porto wines, Madeira wines, whiskeys, cognacs, brandy-like spirit, champagne and various drinks. All products are carefully selected according to the authenticity, quality and relevance of their origin, and carefully stored, under a strict humidity and temperature control.
Keeping the good name and character of the specialized service, creating consonance with the two already existing stores, and in an environment as conducive as the Mercado da Ribeira, this store opened to the public in 2015.
Garrafeira Nacional has available an online store platform , with an international sales service.
