Located in the Lapa neighbourhood and housed in a building dating back to the 1920s, where Brotéria, a historic Jesuit magazine, used to be. Filipa and Sérgio Pinheiro created Lx Lapa, based on their hobby of buying these beautiful pieces, a 20th-century mobility shop, which features works of art, plants, and other vintage objects.
The project started with the idea of opening a hotel, but with the pandemic, the plans were changed, but the dream didn't die here. The chosen location is a real mansion, which this couple transformed into a uniquely beautiful shop, which also functions as an art gallery.
After an intense restoration, from seepage repairs, flooring and painting, it was ready to open. This palace consists of 16 rooms, which have all been restored, to be decorated with pieces of art.
