Founded in 1925 by Joaquim Rodrigues Simões, the Luvaria Ulisses is a historic space that sells exclusively gloves and is the last one existing in Portugal. Located in Lisbon's commercial hub, Chiado, it was very popular and often visited by clients in the fields of politics, art and even culture.
To this day, Luvaria Ulisses maintains its empire-inspired decoration, with a neoclassical style stonework façade, honouring such a historic part of the city. As well as the decoration, its products maintain the same quality, being produced by hand by professionals in this art.
Gloves may no longer have the popularity they had in the 1920s, but Luvaria Ulisses does not stop betting on new models to reach more generations, from classic to sporty.
