MUDE - Museu do Design e da Moda

MUDE, the museum of design and fashion in Lisbon, is considered one of the leading museums of 20th century design in the world and one of the best collections of its kind in Europe. The dazzling collection includes works from 230 designers from all over the world, representing trends in modern fashion, jewellery, decor, furnishings and design. It also hosts many interesting temporary exhibitions in a wide range of subject areas.

Within the collection there are fashions and objects by many of the greats, including Vivienne Westwood, Yves Saint Laurent and Jean Paul Gaultier. You can see the gorgeous Jean Desse gown that actress Renée Zellweger wore at the Oscars in 2001 and the 1947 New Look by Christian Dior.
